After watching Miriam Posner’s “How did they make that” I found that the processed in The Collective Biographies of Women would be in the Main Bibliographies because, it includes the publication data of every known edition or reprint.
Although they have not attempted to complete histories of each work. The list is as complete as possible through 1950 with plans to round out more listings from later decades. What I have summarized here is what I think would fit into the presented
To give some background on this it started with a complete list of all prosopography’s of women that were published in the English 1830-1940, with a very selective list of some before 1830. Female prosopography increasingly got more popular in the 1830’s but didn’t boom until the later nineteenth century.
