The project I am looking at is the Salem Witch Trials. The website showed images, historical documents, and other sources about the Salem Witch Trials. I found this website through the Lehigh Digital Humanities Projects. While analyzing the website, I noticed the document was fairly easy to decode. The website is straightforward, with facts and images to add to its credibility.
For the sources, I found that the information was from the 17th century and comprised multiple documents, archival collections, maps, books, and projects. Furthermore, the process showed that they categorized information by source, with links to view the data. In the main view, there were images that surrounded the sources. From there, some links showed scanned copies of the original documents or detailed paragraphs from book entries or letters. The website presented this information in a factual sense, not adding any interpretations or personal wording. The information includes the original writing or images, including dates and authors.
